It's the question that still shapes how we practice medicine at The Heart Clinic.
Dr. Haegeun Song built her clinical and research foundation in the Division of Cardiology at Asan Medical Center, Korea's leading cardiac center,
including a period of study in the U.S. at Columbia University Medical Center and the Cardiovascular Research Foundation in New York.
She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Ulsan College of Medicine, and spent six years caring for international patients at Shanghai DeltaHealth,
a JCI-accredited cardiac specialty hospital. She went on to join Chung-Ang University Hospital as a Clinical Associate Professor,
where she designed and directed the Cardiac Rehabilitation Center. She also served as Chief Medical Officer at Medipixel,
a medical AI company developing technology that analyzes coronary angiography imaging to support clinical decision-making during interventional procedures,
overseeing its clinical research across multiple countries.
