Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service aim to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of The Heart Clinic (hereinafter the "Clinic") and its users, as well as other necessary matters, in relation to the use of the website services (hereinafter the "Website") provided by the Clinic, in compliance with the Framework Act on Telecommunications, the Telecommunications Business Act, the Personal Information Protection Act, and their Enforcement Decrees.

Article 2 (Definitions)
① "User" means a member or non-member who accesses the Website and receives the services provided by the Clinic in accordance with these Terms.
② "Service" means all Website-related services available to members, regardless of the device used (including various wired and wireless devices such as PCs, TVs, and mobile terminals).
③ "Member" means a person who has agreed to the Website's Terms, provided personal information to register as a member, entered into a service agreement with the Website, continuously receives information, and may continuously use the services provided by the Website.
④ "Non-member" means a person who uses the services provided by the Clinic's Website without registering as a member.
⑤ "Posting" means text, photos, videos, various files, links, and other information in the form of images, characters, or videos that a Member posts on the Service while using the Service.

Article 3 (Specification and Amendment of Terms)
① The Clinic shall post the contents of these Terms, along with its trade name, location, and contact information (telephone, fax, email address, etc.), on the initial (front) screen of the Website so that users can be aware of them.
② The Clinic may amend these Terms within the scope that does not violate applicable laws.
③ When the Clinic amends these Terms, it shall specify the effective date and the reason for the amendment, and announce them together with the current Terms on the initial screen from 7 days prior to the effective date until the day before the effective date.
④ When the Clinic amends these Terms, the amended Terms shall apply only after the effective date, and the pre-amendment provisions shall continue to apply to agreements already concluded before then. However, if a user who has already concluded an agreement expresses, within the announcement period under Paragraph 3, the wish to be subject to the amended provisions and obtains the Clinic's consent, the amended provisions shall apply.
⑤ If a Member does not agree to the application of the amended Terms, the Clinic may not apply the amended Terms, and in such case the Member may terminate the service agreement. However, where there are special circumstances under which the existing Terms cannot be applied, the Clinic may terminate the service agreement.
⑥ Matters not stipulated in these Terms and the interpretation of these Terms shall be governed by applicable laws or commercial practice.

Article 4 (Rules Outside These Terms)
Matters not stipulated in these Terms, or their interpretation, shall be governed by applicable laws or commercial practice.

Article 5 (Conclusion of Service Agreement)
① The service agreement is concluded when a person who wishes to become a Member (hereinafter "Applicant") agrees to the contents of these Terms, applies for membership registration, and the Clinic accepts such application.
② The Clinic shall, in principle, accept the Applicant's application to use the Service. However, the Clinic may decline to accept, or may subsequently terminate the service agreement for, any application falling under the following:

Where the Applicant has previously lost membership status under these Terms, except where the Clinic has granted approval for re-registration.
Where the application is made under a false name or using another person's name.
Where false information is entered, or where the Applicant applies while omitting information required by the Clinic.
Where a child under 14 years of age has not obtained the consent of a legal representative (such as a parent).
Where approval is impossible due to reasons attributable to the user, or where the application otherwise violates the stipulated matters.

Article 6 (Obligation to Protect Personal Information)
The Clinic shall endeavor to protect Members' personal information in accordance with applicable laws such as the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and the Personal Information Protection Act. The protection and use of personal information shall be governed by applicable laws and the Clinic's Privacy Policy. However, the Clinic's Privacy Policy does not apply to sites linked from the Clinic's official site.

Article 7 (Notification to Members)
① When the Clinic notifies a Member, it may do so via the email address the Member submitted to the Clinic.
② In carrying out Paragraph 1 above, all civil and criminal legal liability for any loss arising where the email address the Member submitted to the Clinic differs from the actual email address, whether intentionally or by mistake, shall rest with the relevant Member.
③ In the case of notification to an unspecified number of Members, the Clinic may substitute individual notification by posting on the bulletin board for at least one week.

Article 8 (Member Obligations)
① Members shall not engage in the following acts:

Registering false information at the time of application or change.
Misappropriating another person's information.
Altering information posted by the Clinic.
Transmitting or posting information other than that specified by the Clinic (such as computer programs).
Infringing the copyright or other intellectual property rights of the Clinic or a third party.
Damaging the reputation of, or interfering with the business of, the Clinic or a third party.
Disclosing or posting on the Service obscene or violent messages, images, audio, or other information contrary to public order and morals.
Using the Service for commercial purposes without the Clinic's consent.
Other illegal or improper acts.
② Members shall comply with applicable laws, the provisions of these Terms, usage guidelines, precautions announced in relation to the Service, and matters notified by the Clinic, and shall not otherwise engage in acts that interfere with the Clinic's operations.

Article 9 (Clinic Obligations)
① The Clinic shall not engage in acts prohibited by applicable laws and these Terms or contrary to public morals, and shall do its best to provide the Service continuously and stably.
② The Clinic shall establish a security system to protect personal information (including credit information) so that Members can use the Service safely, and shall disclose and comply with its Privacy Policy.
③ Where the Clinic recognizes that an opinion or complaint raised by a Member in connection with the use of the Service is legitimate, it shall handle the matter. The Clinic shall convey the handling process and results to the Member via email, registered contact information, or the like.

Article 10 (Provision and Change of Service)
① The Clinic provides the following services:

Reservation services provided through the Website.
Consultation services provided through the Website.
Medical information services provided through the Website.
Other services determined by the Clinic.
② The Service is, in principle, provided 24 hours a day, year-round.
③ The Clinic may temporarily suspend the provision of the Service in cases such as maintenance, inspection, replacement, or breakdown of information and communications equipment such as computers, interruption of communications, or where there is a substantial operational reason. In such case, the Clinic shall notify Members by the method stipulated in Article 7 (Notification to Members). However, where there is an unavoidable reason that prevents the Clinic from giving prior notice, it may give notice afterward.
④ The Clinic may conduct regular inspections where necessary for the provision of the Service, and the times of such regular inspections shall be as announced on the service provision screen.
⑤ The Clinic may change all or part of the Service being provided according to operational or technical needs where there is a substantial reason.
⑥ The Clinic may modify, suspend, or change some or all of the services provided free of charge as required by the Clinic's policies and operations, and shall not provide separate compensation to Members for this unless there is a special provision in applicable law.

Article 11 (Service Fees)
① The Service may be used free of charge by all registered Members.
② If the Clinic makes the Service paid, it shall announce the timing, policy, and costs of such change on the Service before implementing the paid service.

Article 12 (Appointment Reservation Service)
① Members may use the appointment reservation service through the Website if they wish.
② All Members bear a duty of good faith with respect to appointments reserved in advance.
③ The Clinic shall not bear civil or criminal legal liability for any loss that may arise in the course of a Member's use of the appointment reservation service, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the Clinic.

Article 13 (Consultation Service)
① Online consultation services cannot, under any circumstances, replace actual medical treatment such as actual examination, diagnosis, or surgery.
② The Clinic shall do its best to maintain security so that a Member's consultation content is not disclosed to any third party other than the consulting physician and the service administrator. However, the Clinic shall not be liable for the disclosure or loss of consultation content in the following cases:

Where a password is leaked due to the Member's negligence.
Where the Member uses the "delete consultation" function.
Where it is due to force majeure such as natural disasters.
③ The content of consultations conducted on the Website may be used, in a form that cannot identify a specific individual, for the following purposes:
Preparation of statistics and academic activities.
Where there is a special provision in law.
Use as an FAQ and as basic data deemed necessary for the operation of the clinic.
④ Answers to consultations are subjective responses based on the medical knowledge of each specialist physician and do not represent the opinion of the Clinic's Service.
⑤ The Clinic may decline to provide all or part of the consultation service where a consultation is requested as follows:
Where the same Member repeatedly requests consultation on the same content.
Where the consultation is requested using expressions contrary to common sense.
Where the consultation requests a diagnosis (name of disease).
Where the consultation concerns treatment costs, examination costs, drug prices, and the like.
Where the Member asks confirmatory questions about content received from another medical institution.
Where the Member slanders or defames medical institutions or specialist physicians without specific grounds.

Article 14 (Medical Information Service)
① The content provided in the Service is general and outline in nature and is provided for information purposes only. The information or consultation provided in the Service can never replace medical diagnosis. The information or consultation provided in the Service is by no means intended to replace medical diagnosis, treatment, or care. If you have any questions or concerns about your health condition, you should seek diagnosis from an actual specialist physician. Under no circumstances should you disregard medical diagnosis, or delay receiving diagnosis, treatment, or care, because of information provided by the Service.
② The Clinic does not recommend any specific examination, product, or treatment method mentioned in the Service. Any individual opinions expressed in the Service are those of the respective authors.
③ Accepting the information of this Service, or the opinions of the specialist physicians participating in the Service or of other members or visitors using the Service, is entirely at the user's own judgment. Accordingly, the Clinic shall not be liable for any damage, injury, or other disadvantage arising from the use of any product, information, idea, or instruction provided to Members.

Article 15 (Attribution of Copyright)
① Copyright and other intellectual property rights to works created by the Clinic belong to the Clinic.
② Members shall not use information obtained through the use of the Website for commercial purposes by modifying, reproducing, transmitting, publishing, distributing, broadcasting, or other means, or allow a third party to use it, without the prior consent of the Clinic.

Article 16 (Management of Postings)
① Where a Member's Posting contains content that violates applicable laws such as the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and the Copyright Act, the rights holder may request suspension of posting and deletion of the relevant Posting in accordance with the procedures prescribed by applicable law, and the Clinic shall take measures in accordance with applicable law.
② Even in the absence of a request from a rights holder under the preceding paragraph, the Clinic may take temporary measures with respect to the relevant Posting in accordance with its policies and applicable law where there are grounds to recognize an infringement of rights, or where it otherwise violates the Clinic's policies and applicable law.

Article 17 (Termination of Agreement)
① Members may apply to terminate the service agreement at any time through the information management menu on the initial screen of the Service, and the Clinic shall process this immediately in accordance with applicable law.
② When a Member terminates the agreement, all of the Member's data shall be destroyed immediately upon termination, except where the Clinic retains member information in accordance with applicable law and the Privacy Policy.
③ When a Member terminates the agreement, Postings created by the Member that have been re-posted by others or registered on public bulletin boards will not be deleted, so please delete them in advance before withdrawing.
④ The Clinic may terminate the service agreement without prior notice, or suspend the use of the Service for a set period, where a Member engages in any of the following:

Acting contrary to public order and good morals.
Being involved in criminal acts.
Planning or executing use of the Service for the purpose of undermining national interests or social public interest.
Misappropriating another person's ID and password.
Damaging another person's reputation or causing disadvantage to another person.
Where the same user registers twice under a different ID.
Impeding sound use, such as by causing harm to the Service.
Otherwise violating applicable laws or the usage conditions set by the clinic.

Article 18 (Limitation of Liability)
① The Clinic is exempt from liability for providing the Service where it cannot provide the Service due to a natural disaster or equivalent force majeure.
② The Clinic shall not be liable for any impediment to the use of the Service caused by reasons attributable to the Member.
③ The Clinic shall not be liable for the reliability, accuracy, or other content of information, materials, or facts posted by Members in connection with the Service.
④ The Clinic is exempt from liability where Members transact with each other, or a Member and a third party transact, through the medium of the Service.
⑤ The Clinic shall not be liable in connection with the use of services provided free of charge, unless there is a special provision in applicable law.

Article 19 (Dispute Resolution)
① Except as stipulated in these Terms, disputes concerning matters arising from the use of the Service shall be resolved, to the greatest extent possible, by mutual agreement between the parties.
② If a lawsuit is filed regarding a dispute arising from the use of the Service, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Clinic shall be the competent court.

[Addendum]
These Terms take effect on August 19, 2026, and shall remain in effect until new Terms are issued.
